Re: BRUZER's SWISS Adventure

[QUOTE=FatJohnson;8180897]Is that why they banned Kinder eggs?? The rumour here was that they have something carcinogenic in their chocolate lol. The choking hazard makes more sense though.

Did a little looking around. The law banning Kinder Surprise in the US dates back to 1938. Essentially, the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act bans "the sale of any candy that has embedded in it a toy or trinket".

Now you know.

Kinder Eggs! my daughters favorite, we can't find them anymore and come to find out there illegal in Va? What do the have drugs hidden inside???
There's a candy store in the Dulles town center that sells them, but they're very expensive. $5 each.
They were deemed to be a choking hazard some time ago. I recall AAFES and the commissary pulling them from the shelves while I was in Schweinfurt 98-01

Re: BRUZER's SWISS Adventure

@debFJVT , nope haven't made it to Geneva yet for two reasons.
1. Currently working us 6 days a week and .....
2. A couple of us want to wait and go down for the Geneva Auto Show

supposed to get a full weekend Feb 18-19, will try and get out to take some more pics

and @Mikey D. , I am still allowed to smile (I think)

I won't be smuggling in any Kinder surprise eggs.............from the dark web:
Kinder eggs remain highly popular in America, and citizens regularly attempt to smuggle samples into the country despite a potential fine of up to $2,500 per egg.

That's great! If you have time, get off the autoroute and go check out the town of Montreaux on the northern tip of Lac Leman where the legendary jazz festival is held - stunning place for lunch, overlooking the turquoise glacial water, amazing castle, sub-tropical vegetation and backdrop of the Alps...unless it's socked in by fog

Croatia is supposed to be spectacular I've never been there, but plenty of friends have and they've all had great things to say.
Monaco - go during the F1 and sit on the hill!

Heh - He lives in Switzerland - It can't be that much more expensive? I of course, live in Dubai and think nothing of paying $15 for a beer. The benefit of that is that everywhere else seems to be a bargain!

Monaco is in a class by itself, especially during events . Would suggest the southern coast of France or Spain as alternatives.
