And there you have it!!! Coyote Canyon in mid-February and a Hawaiian theme.

Dates: February 14 or February 21

Would peeps come out camping on Valentine's Day? Is there anything else major planned for the 14th or 21st?

Post up and let's start solidifying the plan!!!
Better go safe and make it the 21st. Some guys would get killed if they suggested spending Valentine's Day with 30 people!!

M
Mo don't forget we are gone the weekend of the 14th any way, will be up in NorCal camping with spertierra along the Lost Coast.

Sounds good to me! I have a vague memory of someone telling me that coyote canyon was closed during a portion of the winter, I'll check on that . if it's going to be a luau can we do a whole pig ?

OMG, the thread title scared me for a minute - I thought you meant she was leaving the forum. Whew. Anyway, good luck with the move Maureen. I hope you and Kieth will be very happy there.

*SIGH*

OK - hold the phone!! Let's wait a bit...things may be moving quicker than expected on the house rental, so Mo may be moving sooner than originally anticipated.

We may need to move this to the end of January....which may be too early to pull something of this magnitude together. In that case, we could just do a house party or party at Stone Brewery or something.

As soon as I have dates and more info to post, I'll update here. I'll try to get some solid info before posting dates again.

Well...thing is, Mo is planning to pack up and drive off with the rest of her belongings. Camping may be out of the question. We will chat some more and I will find out what I can as soon as I can!

I say you just get YOUR self down here for this little shindig! Then we can caravan up north together! Think of the trouble we could cause.

"Coyote Canyon will be CLOSED for the annual summer closure from June 1 through September 30 to allow the bighorn sheep to drink without interruption during the hot summer months."

This is the news on the closures in the State Park. So, looks like we're in the clear!

As for the rental of the house, I will make the weekend of Jan 31st work. Even if I have to camp out on Angela's living room floor!

Can the record start playing again?? I don't want to skulk out of town without causing some serious trouble!
