Sorry no idea but don’t think it was ‘set’ on fire rather it caught light from a fault

yeah, it was sitting in a grass area that made it look very much like a display, or parked over night and not anything "en-route"

Also, no pictures of "during", so it was apparently found this way. If so, maybe no one knows how it started.

I've posted this before, an accident that my outfit went on.The aluminum is gone on the FJ.

I don't understand why we're concerned about aluminum. If the fire is out of control to the point that it's melting (not to mention turning to ash) the aluminum bits, then the vehicle is simply beyond salvage. Whether the remains are big chunks of rusty steel or just a pile of alumina dust seems beside the point.

What am I missing here?

I think itís on a campsite by the looks of things so I would think an electrical fault started it.
