I wish I knew the answer to this. I've never found out where to get these.
Seems you can buy the FJ fender reinforcement directly from Toyota? For example:

2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser. #5374335040: Fender Apron Reinforcement. Upper reinf.

Re: Engine Bay Body Rips

WOW!!

Heard about this problem but never fully understood this.

So as I have no issues yet on my 07, and will be installing a 180 lb Warn bumper, question is do I just leave it as is, or buy the re-enforcing kit?

If so do I use the Toyota kit, or buy that after market bolt on kit?

Feedback, opinions please.

thanks

Randy

Re: Engine Bay Body Rips

This thread has been quite for a while but I just took the time to read a lot of it. I did a little research and found this: https://parts.villagetoyota.com/prod...374435030.html And: https://parts.villagetoyota.com/prod...374335040.html

Apparently Toyota makes reinforcements for the front fenders. Or, are these just stock parts of the inner fender?
