I am not very familiar with the area so any specifics would be a huge help.
Thanks to all for the warm welcome!

Welcome and howdy from the South side.. There really is not many trails around this area. Protected. But there is many fireroads and gravel roads etc that are fun in the snow and rain. I have also heard of a place at Harmons Den but I have never been there.

Usually I go with the group to Harlan Kentucky etc where ever they have event runs.. Maybe we can hookup sometime though....

I'm just over the mountain from you, and Harlan KY is the place to go, stuff for all skill levels. I think it's just under 2 and a half hours from Asheville.

I would be up for a Harlan ride any weekend.
