Re: Fishing Pics - Time to Brag

This thread is awful quiet.

Caught this 21" FAT rainbow on Friday. I could've kept it, but decided it would be more fun to catch it again next year.

Re: Fishing Pics - Time to Brag

Wow! Nice catch!

Thanks for keeping this thread going, too.

I was in northern MN on the Canadian border back in late June. Caught a lot of walleye and smallmouth bass. But the best part of the trip was seeing this mama moose and baby 2-days in a row scouring the same islands for food.

I also found some north woods trails. Completely unmarked and only led to a small tent site and a very narrow turn-around space. Got a few pinstripes on this one. The truck pic is not the site I found, but different shorter trail and larger tent site .

And because this is a fishing thread, here's some shots of my brother and my I through a couple spring fishing trips. We didn't take many pictures, so this is the best I got.

And this is where the narrow trial lead me to. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

Love me some walleye. I've fished in the Boundary Waters a few times for walleye, pike and smallies. We would put in on Brule Lake and paddle in a couple miles to our camp for 3-4 days. Usually went during opening around Memorial Day.

^^^ Definitely from a southern state! Haha

I've fished a few small tanks in Texas and it's crazy what those little ponds can hold.

Re: Fishing Pics - Time to Brag

Amazing fish!!!

I went out to Sand Point, ID to visit my parents and went fishing for Gerrard Rainbows in Lake Pend Orielle. Got me about a 15lb'er (so the local "expert" says). You can be the judge.
