Pioneer Z1 installation Questions

Before I pull my dash apart, and dont have a part I need I thought Id ask for clarification.

I am going to install my Z1 in my FJ. It looks like I can pull the FJammer out and reuse the mounting brackets and use a special trim kit to fill the holes. Is this correct? Or should I buy a double din kit?
