how to remove blanks in center console

whats up fellas just got 2 rocker switchs just wondering how to remove the blank covers were the other switch are in the center console by the 4x4 control stick is any info will be a big help.

You can also reach the switches by taking out the color-keyed ac control piece. On the bottom of the two silver trim pieces there are 2 screws, then after you just pop those off starting from the top and then going down, there are two screws on the ac controls then you just unplug the 3 connectors from the back. This should give you a little more room then taking the switch console off. Either way shouldn't be that bad.

You don't need to disassemble everything just to remove a blank. Just use a .014" feeler gauge to get it started and pop it out the rest of the way with a small screwdriver.

However, there will be wires attached to some of those blanks. See my short video for more detail.

Yea, I would've suggested that had I not watched the guy who installed my alarm scratch the piss out of my console trying to do that since there was a connector back there holding it in.
