Kenwood radio issue

When I purchased my FJ it came with an aftermarket Kenwood radio with touch screen. I installed a backup camera it works great. The problem i have is the screen blanks out when I wear polarized sunglasses. Which is weird because my other cars dont do this. I want to replace the radio any suggestions? Also im not a radio junkie just need the basics am/ fm and screen for backup.

Maybe:

It sounds like screens can be (and probably should be) manufactured in a way where this wouldnt be a problem. Might be old-tech. Maybe simply changing the unit out for a more modern one would work, but would be an expensive fix if you are otherwise happy with the unit.
