Lightbulb Relocate Rear AC outlet ?

Something that always has bugged me is the location of the 115v AC outlet.
Why Toyota choose to put it down where bag/boxes and other cargo would be is beyond me.

Not having the subwoofer I'd like to move it, preferably on the little quarter window self.

Has anyone tried this ?
I searched a bit and didn't see any discussion.

There's a YouTube video with two Aussie chicks that show how they did it. I can't remember the channel name though.

Re: Relocate Rear AC outlet ?

My outlet is covered by a storage box. I used a short extension cord.

I keep a flat ended extension cord plugged into it and keep the other end where it's handy.
Similar to what's pictured below but slimmer.

Their FJ have 12v outlets but the concept is no different.
