Re: metal grinding noise

I'm not trying to be a smart-a$$, but are you sure it's a metal grinding noise. I just put in new upper control arms and now my tire is rubbing the body mount at the back of the front fender. Only happens when I'm going into a tight turn. I knew what it was because I was expecting it due to the increased caster angle from the new UCA.

Maybe you're just hearing the tire tread chewing on the body mount?

Re: metal grinding noise

Stock size tires, with a body mount chop. Turning the wheel into a turn causes it to be way more pronounced, any suggestions?

Re: metal grinding noise

Similar thing happened to me. Make sure the dust guard/plate is not coming into contact with your brake rotor. That thin sheet metal is awfully easy to bend while installing a lift.
