Stock UCA's with OME medium coils?

Looking for some input on a new issue i have with my FJ.
I had been running a 2.5 front/1.5 rear Daystar spacer lift on my FJ for about 2 year with no problems. About 2 weeks ago I installed the OME medium/885 coils and OME shocks front and rear. Immediately afterwards i had a squeaking in my drivers side upper ball joint that got progressively worse. I shot some grease into the boot and the noise went away.
So i guess what Im nervous about is, is it safe to run the stock UCA's with this lift? Just coincidence that this issue started after the install?

Many have done the OME lift without new UCA's and had no problem. Aftermarket UCA's wouldn't be a bad idea but from what I've heard are not necessary on the OME lift.

i ordered light racing UCA with my OME kit because i figured, if im going to be tearing apart the suspension, I may as well replace that along the way.
