SPC/LR UCA identification, Mevotech box

I bought these on RockAuto for my 2010 FJ. Price seemed right and much cheaper to get to my house versus the Light Racing. Well they show up and are just repacked SPC control arms. Sweet. My problem is they look different so my concern is they're not the right part.

Brand is MEVOTECH CMS861198 and CMS861199.
Ball joints bagged 50001107, joint actually stamped 50001106 030
Arms labelled 25475111

They look much diffrerent from other SPC/Light racing control arm pics I've seem. Those were tubular with a brass looking ball joint. The ball joint on these is silver and greasable. Anyone have info if these are good to go? The instructions do say "FJ" ...

I recall some threads talking about a "new" version but am yet to see any examples. The arms look like they will fit just by holing them up to the oem.

If that is true these cost around $600 CDN pesos versus the others which would have clocked in at over $900CDN

Not only does it look like the new arms, but also the new xAxis sealed bushings. If so, you really made out like a bandit You said this was from Rock auto?

These are the new spc arms. I checked on rock auto about $400 for the pair of the mevotech vs $570 from other vendors for the spc arms

Looking like they are the new version. Yup Rock Auto had them under the brand MEVOTECH

Here is an up close of the bushing...

I would order some of these but wondering if I will get the tubular shown in the picture or the ones that you got. Good buy!

When I ordered the pic looked like the "old style." I thought hey those looks really similar to what I want so I will try it out since the SPC/LR's will cost way too much to get to Canada. Then these show I would imagine if you order the same part # as I did you would get the same product.

OK so looks like the MEVOTECH are selling repackaged SPC control arms, and are the new version. No complaints from me. Time to install the Toytec 3" lift.

It's bizarre. All SPC product including the instructions, different box. Hundreds of $$ cheaper.
