Went out on Saturday and bought some hardware to mount the 4 foot ARB awning I bought from Trevor.
Stepped outside on Sunday and thought "Naw, it's too hot" and was a couch potato the rest of the day.
The wind did this to my FJ after the ****ty windshield replacement job by a Toyota Dealer contracted company. The molding is still somewhere on 35 south between Dallas and Midlothian.
Yea they did, after telling me it came with new one only to find out it didn't. It has already been a nightmare dealing with them over this and now this has happened. I'm at safelite right now getting a new one.
Hopefully this Friday I'll have my Tred Pro in. I just got a tracking number. Also I finally got a hold of the shop I use for laser cut parts so the bumper can get to progress some.
Mounted up my new MTZ's. The MT technical department said I should get 45k miles out of these with the new compound in the P3's. They are a sharp looking tire. Planning to hit BP in the next couple weeks, after i get an updated OHV sticker.
It looks fun, I had a friend do either this or something similar last year. He didn't say too much about it after he went so I have I have no idea if it was good or not.
In other FJ news, I got plates in to finish my bumper. 1/4" SA36 plate should be plenty strong to keep my swing out from moving.
