Re: OFFICAL Moab October 7th-11th 2015

If you guys don't mind I would like to join in on the festivities but will not be arriving until the afternoon of the 9th. My FJ is pretty much stock so I am not sure what it can and can't handle up there as i have never been to MOAB. I will be coming from Winter Park, CO

Re: OFFICAL Moab October 7th-11th 2015

Hi Guys. On this trip we have all accepted that we will be camping. This got me thinking and I decided to check out the camping section on the forum. I ran across a thread I thought might be both entertaining and informative for us all and want to share it with you. If nothing else, it is a good read. Get in a couple pages and I think you will find yourself reading the whole thing. Seriously funny in parts! Below is the navigation to the thread.

https://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...camp-site.html
OR
Camping Equipment > How to stealth a vehicle and camp site?

I especially liked the Voodoo Blue stealth covering...

Somehow I don't think the Dakota Fire Pit will work out for us though.

Many many gaudy FJ's, roof tents, huge bonfires and slightly drunk people are hard to hide IMO.
