Anybody in this group ever run the Poison Spider-Golden Spike - Golden Bar Trifecta?

I've never run it, but I'm interested in doing it.

LA Sal may be a bit rougher than normal.

I'm still game to try it out. That's based more on bikes right? Maybe I'll call a few places tomorrow and see what's up.

Can someone see if there is a printout of all the trails and the descriptions somewhere that we can use as a guide, theres not much cell signal at the campsite.

Here's a spot with descriptions and ratings of the trails in Moab that's pretty decent.

https://www.rr4w.com/trails.cfm

Go ahead, skin it! Skin that smoke wagon and see what happens...

I'll ride in on a sunny day, Sing you a song, steal your heart away Like a cowboy Hang my hat like I'm here for awhile Kick off my boots and drive you wild Like a cowboy Well baby you know I can't stay long You wake up, I'll be gone Until then I'll hold on Like a cowboy.

Yeah, that site is motorcycle oriented, but it's the only current trail condition I could find.

If you call, check on Rose Garden Hill as well, I'm thinking of taking the Easter Jeep Safari route to Top of the World, which starts on Onion Creek, then climbs Rose Garden Hill before reaching the start of Top of the World from the back side.. It was washed out badly last year, so I skipped it.

Re: OFFICAL Moab October 7th-11th 2015

A group of FJ's going to Moab. If it was a week later I would invite myself and join you but the dates fall between the 2 weekends of the Elk Hunt in Utah so I guess I will just have to wait until Easter and play with the jeeps again.

If you run Fins n things up into Porcupine Rim that will be a full day and there are a couple tough spots in there. Rose Garden Hill was in pretty bad shape last year so I would stick to the Top of the World trail both up and down. Porcupine Rim up across the Spike and down Gold Bar Rim used to always be a must do. 7 Mile Rim is a fun scenic easier trail also. Enjoy Hells Revenge. I would consider Elephant Hill down in the park also. Too many trails and not enough vacation.

Have great trip. I wish I could join.
