...is anyone game for the full Golden Spike route Saturday??

I might consider that. I do not have a winch. Would that be a problem?

Re: OFFICAL Moab October 7th-11th 2015

Hi guys.

I am bummed out but due to a real problem I have to bow out. I was seriously looking forward to this. Damn. My FJ is already packed. This seriously sucks.

Edit: Nothing bad, nobody is dead or anything but life has just handed me a very big lemon that will take a lot of sugar to make into lemonade.

Re: OFFICAL Moab October 7th-11th 2015

I do not have one currently installed either. I've only ever had to pull a line once in Moab and that was due to snow, so I think we'll be OK but if need be I do have some straps, hi-lift, and come along. We can discuss it Saturday in the morning. There's a group of Land Cruisers already out there as well btw, but I think their runs are leaning a little more toward the aggressive side (pritchett, BFE, etc.)

Also, could also try Poison Spider on for size first and if it's a bit much just do that on its own.

I have similar recovery gear so I am willing to try just about anything emphasis on Just about. Tried hells gate last year and that is off the just about list. Ha.

I will probably help @Jrtheman with the bumper install!

Re: OFFICAL Moab October 7th-11th 2015

I will be there mid afternoon, leaving telluride at 11-12ish.

I have a awning to mount, and I'll need to stop by the hardware store, and grocery store.

Re: OFFICAL Moab October 7th-11th 2015

Oh also Matt texted me saying that he got the campsite this afternoon, the road is good to go getting into the site.

He's about 100 feet away from last years site.

Oh man if you miss out on wheeling on my account I will feel bad. We should arrive between 12 and 1. So if there is anyone in camp feel free to do what you need and leave the bumpers there. I can't even say how much I appreciate what you have done.
