I learned that one the hard way back in the early 70s (dumb kids)!
Late at night watching a James Bond marathon while the wife was sleeping. Only shot out my TV though when I forgot there was "one in the chamber" :-/

Told my wife "the TV just "blew up" and promptly put it on the curb after removing the piece of lead (hit just below the screen...no broken glass, just circuit board shattered with a mysterious hole near the speaker)!
Dude. I hope I am never within a mile of you!

'PACO' The killer FJ!

LOL yall sound like a bunch of Baptists! I enjoy mixing alcohol with outdoor activities (i.e. tailgates, camping, watersports, etc), but I'm at least responsible when I bring my guns... shoot them first, then crack open a brewsky. Don't like that? Go complain on the internet.
I think it's safe to assume most people do as you suggest... Pretty sure there is a difference between having one or two drinks and drinking, drinking, shooting, drinking, and shooting drinks and drinking and shooting all day long with liquored up buds. You have to admit the extremes are bad. What's a Baptist.

Dude! That was many years ago...when I was a lot more -- uh -- careless.
I have almost 40 years of continuous firearms experience, and shoot a lot better, and safer than I ever have.

That was my first semi-auto pistol and probably had only fired 100 rnds through it....I was just a dumb-a$$ kid playing around...and learned one of the basic safety tenants of a semi-autos the "medium way" (the hard way really sux).
