Re: FJ is Upside Down! Need Recover Info!!
So, now that it's on its side, is it just sliding along rather than pulling it upright? If so, you'll likely have to dig a little trench for the low side tires to fall into as it's pulled sideways.....then it should "stick" in those trenches and you should be able to complete the pull.
The other way (assuming you don't care about the other side's sheetmetal at this point) is to wrap the strap around the lowest frame rail (closest to the ground) and then take the strap (protecting it from any sharp sheetmetal or frame mounts) and wrap it under the rig, then over the top and the other side. That will force it to come back over.
Also, I should have mentioned the oil thing. DO NOT try and start it up. It likely has oil in the cylinders.
At cold temps, it may stay there....depending on temp. I'm not that familiar with the FJ engine, so I'm assuming you can get to the crank bolt.....if you can, and it'll spin by hand with the appropriate socket/breaker....it's probably not hydrualic'd (hydro-locked if you prefer).....but to be safe, pull the plugs and crank it over to get the oil out of the cylinders. It is going to make a huge mess....be prepared for that.
