Re: Do not order from Wab Fab

just adding my voice to the chorus. i placed an order for a rock rail adapter in mid-April of this year, and while Brian Drawhorn (that's "the wabbit") didn't lose a moment in charging me for the order, he has since had the nerve to bombard me with promotional emails while ignoring both my order and every email i've sent him - at first to inquire about an ETA on the product, and more recently to demand a refund. and this in addition to his stated policy of ignoring forum posts and voicemails.

clearly not a reputable seller, that one.

i'm hoping my bank will be able to pull the money back in for me, since i placed the order with a Visa debit card.

Re: Do not order from Wab Fab

I agree, I was willing to wait but all the spam emails I started receiving offering discounts on a product I paid full price for and have already been waiting over 2 months.

I tried contacting him earlier only to get the automated email response everyone else does. I just disputed the charge with my cc company.

X2 for supporting the local vendor that was also a sponsor at the Summit and is also a great guy!

(not sure why we can't mention a great vendor in this thread, but he's made such a great name for himself and his company that I don't even need to say his name )

Suck it up... it's only -40

Are you talking about Wilson with trdparts4u.com?

Just trying to confirm if it's trdparts4u.com you're X2ing in this bash thread?

I don't think that trdparts4u.com has any issues with screwing people and not notifying them of shipment/order status (problem with trdparts4u.com is other way around, considering I get 5 emails updating the status of any order I place from trdparts4u.com. I don't really need to know that the box has been moved from the packaging counter to the shipping counter, personally).

Don't they, trdparts4u.com, now offer a product for rock rails?

Or did I miss your intent?

I think you missed his intent. I believe he was praising Wilson and TRDParts4u.

I know how it is being a small one man shop and all but Brian has been making these long enough that, as a standard product, he should be making them for stock rather than for received orders.
He shouldn't have to make them to stock, but he should set clear delivery expectations and keep customers informed about progress, holdups, etc. Most people will be patient if they know what is going on.
