Recent Experience with Rugged Ridge Liners

Just wanted to give everyone some feedback on my recent experience with Rugged Ridge Liners. I bought a front liner set from Amazon, less than a year ago. Up until recently, I was very pleased with them. Then, last weekend I looked at the drivers side and noticed it had worn down heavily. The treads in the middle were down to less than 1/16th of an inch. I contacted Rugged Ridge asking about warranty etc. After some brief back and forth email, and submitting pictures so they could verify, I am already in possesion of a brand new drivers side liner. NO cost for shipping, no tax, and no return of old liner. (I am assuming the pictures made them not want a thin liner back)

I am extremely impressed with Rugged Ridge, and their willingness to stand behind their product. After simple verification and easy process, they expeditiously sent me a replacement at no cost to me. They have my business for life, no question there.

Just wanted to share this, as there are alot of different vendors to choose from, and I like to share great experiences I have with great companies.

Thanks for sharing. I also planning on replacing the liners on my 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser.

That's good to know. Hard to find companies that care about customer satisfaction these days.

But the question remains, why do these liners wear so quickly? Shouldn't need warranty or replacing at the 1 year mark imo.

Re: Recent Experience with Rugged Ridge Liners

I'm not quite sure why they wore down. In fairness, I drive more than most people. Over the past year, I averaged 1000 miles a week, and that included a lot of getting in and out of the truck. That could have quickened the wearing of them. Also- again due to work, I wear clunky steel toe boots, that typically have pretty rigid soles. Also possible the heel of my boots kept rubbing at them. My last vehicle was a F-150, and I wore through the factory all weather mat, the rubber floor, and a husky mat before i got rid of it.

Re: Recent Experience with Rugged Ridge Liners

Just checked mine, and after 8 mos of use that included some gnarly offroad episodes, the chevron "lugs" look to be the same height as when new.

And happy to hear about your warranty experience...good to know...very considerate of you to post up about it - thanks!!!

Re: Recent Experience with Rugged Ridge Liners

I just bought a pair Of the Rugged Ridge mats for the front of my 2011.They look great and fit perfectly. They utilize the little twisty knobs to hold in place. The chevron rubber in the mats look great IMO. Just my .o2
