Transmission oil cooler hose protection

Anyone used PVC sheaths for protecting the transmission cooler hoses? The one they use for electrical wires and hoses.

Re: Transmission oil cooler hose protection

That's not going to provide much in the way of protection.

True but it will give some protection from stray hits and joints before the pipes get ruptured.

I would wonder if that would hold moisture and make the line rust?

I put almost every cable, wire, and hose inside one of those. Order online from a made-in-USA, high-heat-rated one if you're going for engine compartment; off-the-shelf or discount Chinese works for sheathing wires inside the vehicle.

Exactly the reason I am putting them on mine, I know the Wholesale kit comes with them. I am also tying down the hose wherever needed as I don't want them to touch other parts and get damaged.
