I Just hit the Hubs with some rust reformer when I had the wheels off. I spritzed the back just to cover up the spidertrax. Don't look too close, they need another coat.
hahaha
so you running Spidy's for track width and look, or were the 285's rubbing your UCA's ?
cheers

When I had the stockers on, they were real close to the UCA. Wanted to push them out a little for that, track width and I wanted the tires out to the edge of the fenders for a better look IMO. So I went w/ the 1.25". I honestly thought I'd rub the Body Mounts even after the chop once I went to the new wheels. But I hasn't although it's close. I had to trim the rest of the rubber off around the BM. I wheeled it pretty hard with no rubbing.
Also wanted w/ the spidertrax on with the LT rear end. It helps with the rubbing when completely stuffed. Still going to have to trim or remove the rear plastic, or just let the tires do the job like in the old days!

Stuffed

Clearance to the UCA w/ spidertrax and new wheels

Tires are out beyond the fenders about an 1" now but I'm growing fond of the look

I figure w/ the spidertrax and the wheels, my track width is 3 1/2" wider than stock.

Cool,
I was running Spidy's with stock rims too... for wheel track width and the nearness to the UCA, but removed them with the Manx. apart from being illegal DU... figure I dont need them any more.. I hope... hahaha
Enough UCA clearance now that its ok... without.
Manx are wider with zero offset so now level with the fender and legal again now... hahahaha

Thanks for the input
Cheers

@Joabmc I've been touching up my wheels with SEM Flat Black trim paint - spray it on a small brush and dab it in the scratches. It's a really tough paint - all their stuff is excellent, especially their rust reformer/encapsulator which lasts way longer than any others I've used.

Re: Post of all Rims and tyres out there!

These came on my truck when I bought it from a broker. Great tires (Nitto Grappler MT285/85/18, but not a fan of these 18" Fuel Octane rims.
I bought a set of used 16"TRD beadlocks that are the model that originally came on the '13 TTE. I'll swap them on when the existing tires wear out.
