Re: Method NV Wheels

No problems at all with the push thru center caps ( of course they do stick out quite a bit ) but they don't affect the fitment of the wheel. And as previously mentioned you will need skinned lug nuts . Discount tire was offering a FREE MOUNTING KIT a couple of weeks back which I am now glad I got because stock alloy lugs from my '07 weren't going to cut it nor were the acorn style off of my steelies. About the time I was feeling real good about my purchase and the free lug nuts my service guy asked how I wanted to attach my spare.......so with my spare in the back and a brief stop at O'Reilly's to purchase a set of skinny wheel locks my tire was out back again.

Re: Method NV Wheels

Anyone have issues with cleaning the machined face Method NVs? I noticed that the face of the wheel is bare aluminum and was wondering if the brake dust causes any staining or pitting?

Finally pulled the trigger on the NV's. No issues with the center cap but I have thought about ditching it as I think the wheels look a little better without them.

I finally picked up a set of used NVs that have some superficial scratches on them. Does anyone know what's the best touch up paint to use?

Has anyone used Mamba wheels M 18 on their truck? How did they hold up?

Got mine mounted today.
17x8.5 with 285 Goodyear Duratracs

Just the picture I was looking for.

New to the forums and still getting used to being able to tell about lifts from pictures. Do you have a lift or Any other mods to make these wheels and tires fit on the car?

Welcome to the forum!

Nope. That photo was pre-lift.
Stock suspension. No BMC. No Spacers.
Didn't have any issues with rubbing.
But did do BMC when I installed my lift, just to make sure everything cleared nicely.

Thank you, wasn't planning to lift just yet so that's perfect. Can you share the exact specs on the tires?

They are Goodyear DuraTracs, 285/70-17 (33"), D load rated.
I've been really happy with them. Great off-road, great onroad.
I have about 65k miles on them, and there's probably have another 30-40k on the tread left.
