Wot's to do?

(I'm reverting back to my Lanky roots for this thread.)

Okay, so as they say in Lancashire "Eee, then, wot's to do?"

My 3-season REVOs on stock 17" alloys are nearly done for, used up,
finished. Mind you, they've been great. Even for one winter. N'owt like
Blizzaks, mind you, but adequate. Credit where credit's due.

This winter, I've been running Blizzaks on 16" Tundra steelies, painted black.

And have rather gotten used to the look. As well as having appreciated the
fact that, even though they have more materials in them, 16" tyres of a
stock outer diameter seem to be cheaper than 17" tyres.

And, they look and feel better.

Saw some Nitto tyres at the local petrol station which looked rather nice.

So: do I just get some more Revos on the stock rims or put the latter up
on Craigslist and try and find some TRD or some other 16" rims and go
after the Nittos for 3-seasons.

Or maybe get the OEM alloys powder-coated black.

To be fair, the 17's DO really seem to give more of a 'sports car' feel to
the FJ...

I DO know that I don't want to run silver rims on the bottom of a
Sun Fusion any more. Just doesn't look proper.

Votes, opinions, and strong feelings are most welcome.

Cheers, 'aw
