      p.s. if you do find a storage unit, buy a good trickle charger:


      And one of these to power it. That way, the trickle charger can always be on but you can turn the light on only when you need it:

      Thanks for the recommendations. Actually, I already have a trickle charger that I keep it on. I used to store the FJ in the parking garage where I used to work. Other people stored vehicles there and the building management didn’t seem to care because the garage was so big. But I’m now worried about it getting stolen. Vehicle theft is up here in Austin like all crime. It’s ridiculous. So I stored it in a neighbor’s garage for awhile but then he bought a second car and I had to let him have his space back. Covered storage here in AUstin starts at around $200. Open parking storage is available but that’s still $100. Oh well, thanks for taking the time for the advice. I’ll figure it out.
