We bought it new and has been a daily driver ever since, explains the 220,000 miles on the odometer. It was bone stock up to the spring of 2016, then Merri got the itch for us to do another video project. This was all her idea folks, I'm just along for the ride.
All of our modifications are detailed through videos and photos on our Facebook page and Youtube channel.
We would love to hear your comments and advice. We’re not nearly done yet, there are many more modifications to do and adventures to be had.
2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser (Sunfusion Yellow)


Relay Box, Scuba Mod for both diffs, transmission, transfer case, & front actuator, Air Compressor; Viair 400H.
Dash switches for lights, VSC hack, aTrac, relays for winch & compressor.

Raised front seat rear mounting bracket 1”.

CB Radio; Cobra 75 WX XT, All Pro rear door hinge antenna mount, 4’ Fire Stik antenna, separate remote speaker, custom mic mount.

Tool & Recover boxes, ammo boxes with custom mounting brackets.

LED dome lights.

Rear window net.

GPS and Ipod dash mounts.

Vehicle Stability Control Hack
Front Bumper; Expedition One Standard Trail Series, one hoop, with 6” aux driving lights, 4” fog lights, Warn Zeon 10,000# winch.

Rear Bumper; Expedition One Trail Series, with 4” reverse lights.

Side Rock Rails; Expedition One

Skid Plates; engine & trans, RCI, aluminum.

Highlift Jack with JackJaw tube adaptor and large base. Custom mount on factory rack.

Heavy duty canoe rack mounted on factory rack.

LED lights all around including mirrors.

Painted grill surround white.

Painted mirrors and door handles satin black.

GPS and Ipod dash mounts.

Custom TRD Fender Graphics

Gas Jerry Can Mount; Smittybilt with much modified spare tire bracket.
3” lift in front- Toytec Boss 2.5”, upper arms by Light Racing, 1” front differential drop to improve axle angle, sway bar relocation brackets to clear larger diameter springs, new stock replacement lower control arms with Toytec alignment cams & bolts, replaced axle shafts, replaced tie-rod ends, new wheel bearings and hubs, sway bar bushings.

2 ½ ” lift in rear- Toytec Boss shocks with their Superflex HD springs, bump stop drops, HD lower control arms by Light Racing, replaced sway bar bushings.
Wheel and Tire
Wheels- Steel Pro Comp Rock Crawler Series 97- 17”x9”.

Tires- Cooper Discoverer SST Pro, P295 70R17

Spacers so front wheels clear calipers, 1 ¼” Spidermax.

Body Mount Chop and mud flap cut.
