I don't know what type of paint toyota used on these rims, but it seems to scratch quite easy. Not only that, either mine are full of water stain or the paint has faded moderately in just 1 year. They are really difficult to clean too.

A tire shop put a few small scratches on 2 rims during a rotation :flame:

Not to be a negative nancy but you rent powder coat on wheels. Unless you never go off road. I have had 2 sets of wheels powdercoated... ON CARS and they chip VERY easily. I cannot imagine having a powdercoated wheel on a off road vehicle.

Duplicolor makes a rim paint that is close to TT black. It's satin black.

Maybe you pull all 5 and hit them with the Duplicolor. Then you can re-spray them once a year and keep em looking brand new.

If you use them off road they will all scratch. I did a run last sat. that wasn't too tough, but I was amazed at the scratches in my alloys. They aren't painted, but I think they have a clear coat. If you are going to wheel, and want your wheels to look good, I'd go with the rustoleum, and plan to touch up often. It's a shame the TRD wheels scratch so easy, they sure are pretty!
