O.K., I admit that I didn't believe these prices at first, but I called the only reputable dealer here in San Diego and they have the same info. We probably shouldn't expect to see many at those base prices since I think most will be well-equipped, but at least the loaded ones are WAY cheaper than I (and everybody) thought. Gotta hand it to Toyota.

Can Anybody Price Out An Estimate Of What The Accessories Will Cost? It Would Be A Huge Favor To Us All.

Depends on the accessories, I'm bettin pretty close to the following...

Hood Protector: $119
Door Sill "enhancements": $169
Rock Rails - this one's hard because there isn't anything comparable on the website: $379

TRD Exhaust: $520

Everything else (aside from floor mats and such) is a guess, I would put the rack with lights and wind deflector around $800 - $1000 just because manufacturers are evil like that. I think it ought to come stock.

Thank you Percy. Thank you Toyota. Thank you Lord. Thank you little bug that's crawling across the floor under my computer desk right now. Life is good. It's all good. It's the best day of my life. It's the best day ever.

What's with all you people? It's time to bring Paris back.

True. But how many days until you take delivery? How many long lonely days? You know almost everything about the beast now, so no new exciting info to get you past that Monday, Tuesday... Long lonely days...waiting, just waiting.

Somebody slap me. Actually it's been cool to see everyone so excited about the pricing. I was probably going to get one even if it went into the 30s for a loaded one. Hey wait, maybe it still will.

This SUV better wipe my ass for me too...cuz it's gonna cost me an arm, a leg and a few ribs to be able to afford. I am in no shape to buy a brand new vehicle, hell I've never even owned a new car. This will be my first brand new one. And it will probably end up forcing me into bankruptcy...so if anyone wants a yellow or black FJ(still on the fence about color) in about year from now....just check some local PA auctions. It'll probably sell for like 5k at an auction when the bank takes it away from me. That will be a sad day...... =(
