Well- after 16 years, its time to find a new home for my baby. 190k miles. I'm the original owner and she's been my daily driver since I got her in late '06. I have all the original paperwork- original sticker, owner's manual, etc. I also have the original welcome kit that was sent to the TRD owners that includes the Two Roads to Baja DVD (still sealed) AND the special edition 1/18 die cast model (also still sealed). Besides all the options it came with, I added:
-OEM brush guard
-OEM auxiliary lights (these are the original version that were recalled by Toyota because they were "too bright")
-OEM Siruis/XM integrated receiver
-Toyota TRD cold air intake
-OEM Garmin integrated portable GPS (rare)
-2" lift -33x12.5 BFGs, including spare (all have more than 50% tread left)
Mechanically, she's in great shape- starts and runs beautifully. No leaks, no warning lights. 4wd A-TRAC, rear diff lock all work as they should. Within the last 25k miles, the timing chain, clutch, and shocks have all been replaced.
Cosmetically, she's not perfect, but looks pretty good for 16. Lots of surface surface scratches and a few minor bumps- nothing major that can't be easily fixed. Also, our property is plagued by pine trees, so she suffered through years of sap. I was able to get a lot of it off, but there are several spots on the hood and roof where they are still visible and some that have eaten through the paint.
I don't have to tell you guys what a rarity this is- only 3200 produced and of those, only about 400 with the manual trans. This is likely one of very few left on the road.
Thanks for looking!
