I've logged onto the Toyota TIS sight with the intent of downloading the 2008repair manual. The files are in HTML format and, while I can print individual pages, there is no obvious way in which to download the files to my computer. I know there must be a way, since others have downloaded the 2007 manual. Can anyone share a solution to my problem? Thanks in advance.

Most any browser will allow you to

File --> Save as on ANY page.

If you start at the root, and use Internet Explorer, it ~should~ "crawl" all the pages and save the complete manual.

IF you can access it using your home pc (where you have access to install programs) there are even more options.

more info please.

When I open a file from the manual, the file opens in a new window. There are no menu headings at the top of this new window...i.e. no file menu to open up and choose the save command. If I go to my previous browser window to select the file menu to save, I am then in a different window and can't access the page I am trying to save from the manual.
