(1st post)!
I recently took delivery of a 2011 FJ, auto tranny. It has about 1000 miles on it, all street driving. I've noticed a faint odd sound, almost like a ticky-hiss, possibly coming from the right front side, under the truck. It only happens using moderate throttle, between (I think) 2nd and 3rd gears, and then appears to go away, so I don't think it's an exhaust leak.
There's no performance issues, and drives normally.
Before taking it in, any suggestions? Or could this be a normal sound I'm not used to?
