Hello,

I'm getting a 2011 FJ next week. It is one of the solid green "US" models; not a TT. My question is this...Are all the suspensions the same on all FJ's not counting the bilstein upgrade?

Second question...does the Bilstein option raise the vehicle at all?

The reason I ask is when I looked at the US model and compared it side by side to another FJ with Bilsteins and the "Of Road Package (ORP)", the one with the Bilsteins and ORP had about 1 inch more clearance in the wheel wells.

Note: The US model had the stock throw away 17 inch steel wheels and the FJ with the ORP had 16 inch TRD wheels and BFG AT's.

Thank you all,

John

When I bought my 2011 this past friday, there were only three to choose from. The one i bought which is a 4x4 AT with ORP and 17" rims, a 4x2 TRD, and another 4x4. They all seemed the same height to me, but considering that I traded in an 08 with ICON lift, to me they were all short. LOL This one has the bilsteins, but I am already shopping for a lift. You want height, that is the way to go, plus its a better ride.
