I have the rough country 3 inch lift kit on my FJ cruiser and want to lift it more using the 4 inch lifting spindle for the rear wheel drive FJs. What can I use to match the rear to the front? Could I just add a 3 inch spacer to the rear spring coupled with an extended travel shock?

Thanks.

That is pretty much what the rough country kit uses...a big giant spacer. Just not sure if it can be purchased separately...

Thanks, is there any specific shock for such a large lift?

With the Rough country kit they essentially use a spacer for the shocks too I think. I know Summit and other places sell what are like U-brackets that you can use to space out the shock mounting points. No idea what exactly would work. You could just figure the extended and collapsed length and buy from there...would have to have everything else installed on the truck and then stuff / droop a wheel to see the distance.
