Will a 33"x12.5" fit on a stock FJ (by stock I mean no lifts or chops) without any rubbing or damage to the tire or truck?

I've heard options both ways... so I thought that I would open it up to guys/gals how know best.

Thanks for any help you can give!!!

the first tire i ran on my "stock" fj, i ran a 32x11.50x17...it would barely rub when the wheel turnd all the way, or i backed out of driveway...more then likely you would exp some rubbing, if you tried....

I think they will rub on the body mount, but the surefire way to find out is go to the tire store and have them test-fit, I went to 3 different places and they all did it for free.

if you wheel they will rub. I have 33x12.5 on my truck with a chopped mount and they still come pretty close, but no rubbing at all. I was hesitant about a mount chop, but in the end it really is no big deal. Lift it, chop the mount and you will love it!

why would you not want to at least lift the droopy stock front end up level if you are stuffing those oversized meats on???
Get with the program. One mod leads to another...no way around it.
