Hi .. My friend had installed yukon 4:88's after installing the rear diff is on and cant be off and the traction lights is on..
the fj is lifted 6" and 35's tires
any one cant help how to fix this ?

Sounds like a shim issue at worst but how does it ride? Disconnect the battery for 2 minutes to reset computer see if that works. Is it just the light or is it stuck mecanically?

How fast are you going when you turn its starting to sound like its stuck engaged and you shouldn't drive fast with it locked?

Its either you actuator is stuck in the locked postion or you have a mechanical issue with the install.

If your not in 4Lo the ECU won't even let the locker engage. So I'd rule out wiring being the issue.
