Hi all

I just install 5100's and added KO2's to the FJ + wheel alignment... I am getting a light vibrate feel to the gas pedal and a humming hovering noise coming from the front driver side when in 6 gear going 60+

Could it be a bad wheel bearing, axle, or the throw out bearing?

Shifts smooth and clutch is solid

about to hit100k miles on a 2011

hope you guys can help out.. clocking in at work now :(

***forgot to mention… the issue only comes out for 6th gear. I’ve tested going 60+ on 4th&5th but no humming/vibrate

I did recently flushed the tranny

Chances are it has something to do with the work that was recently done. I would start by having the wife drive it back and forth in the drive way so you can look at it (one time while doing brakes a wheel weight somehow fell off and got stuck to the mounting side of the tire, didn't notice it, tire ended up being mounted cocked and driving all kinds of cadawampus causing vibration, luckily a guy on the road noticed and saved me the headache). Watch this video about checking your wheel bearings and let us know what you find, good luck!
