Can someone tell what the registration fee of the FJ Summit in Ouray is?
Is there alot of waiting on trails while traveling with groups?
Can you give us a rundown on how the summit works? Thanks:)

How does the summit work? It works great :rocker:
You just sign up for one of the scary trail rides, where you gasp for air as you walk a few feet, say from your car to the best photo point. Then you get dizzy looking down at all the small stuff in the valley and crawl back to your rig
In the evening, you make sure to drink plenty of beer, to stave off altitude sickness, as staying well hydrated is allegedly paramount, and as you know, one should never trust the water in remote areas of the planet…
In the morning, two Aspirins, two to three coffees, and you're good to go again :bigthumb:

It was $160 for one person last year and $25 for each addtl person. 2013 fees will be known when the site goes live next year.

you sign up for 1 trail a day.

there is waiting to go through obstacles but usually goes quick.

First of all, it's one of the most beautiful places most of us have ever seen. So, some of us get there early, just to take in more of that.

Check out my photos, etc from our 2010 and 2011 trips to Ouray for some ideas of what we get into.
