I have a feeling not many are experiencing this... but if this spirals out of control I WILL have the thread deleted without question.

The cracks don't bother me, just thought it was interesting!

I agree and would obviously prefer that my $30,000 didn't do this... but it's been through a lot and has held up incredibly well in my opinion. If I reported it, I'd hurt it's feelings... we're really close. ;)

I didn't have any bulges or rips (the normal kind, not these weird ones i talk about here) for a loooong time. A long time as in nearly 10,000 OFFROAD miles....

But yea at some point they started appearing, now my apron is completely torn in two plus these weird other tears...

I fly a lot, and don't have them... i've stuffed my tires plenty of times at speed, but still no bulges. It's flippin weird. I am eagerly awaiting my bulges and cracks.. (seriously)
Yea, see that's what I'm talking about... I beat the piss out of my truck and didn't have them and used to make fun of people who did.

But then all of the sudden I got them hardcore!

Still the stock battery...

With no sway bar I can in fact completely stuff the wheel up in there to rub the well... kinda of an unrelated topic, but is one reason i am very happy with a spacer lift on the front - the stock springs are light and super flexy.

So really there is no mystery how these cracks occurred in my mind. I've had major wheel/fender contact many times.

Yea, I guess I was misleading in my original post... for these cracks - the under way down by the wheel cracks - there is no doubt at all how it occurred!!

I was just sharing and wanted to see if anybody had it going on...

As for the other cracks - the upper inner fender things... that remains somewhat of a mystery.

Can I experiment on your rig with reinforcements?

I'd like to just weld the thing shut and then weld a piece of .125 plate over it and see what happens.

I would, of course, be expecting you to try to break it.
Doc, why don't we just cut the whole stupid fender out, put some sheets down, and try to run 37's?!?!?!

shhhh.... I mean I know why, but that's no fun.
