here's a truck i designed a few years ago for a friend.
we used metal conduit painted to match the roof and the truck for running the roof light wiring into the engine bay.
of course the rest of the truck has been extensively modded as well.

this was an exercise in what can be done -- the truck was built for advertising to catch attention.

Looks okay I guess. I just don't see the point. It actually looks much harder than just running it down the pillar.
