I fancied a bit of a change today so took the FJ over a few of my favourite local(ish) green lanes. It might not be as much fun as being back driving in the desert, but was quite spectacular in the fog (which doesn’t show so much in the photos).

Wasn't sure what a "green lane" is, so I looked it up and learned a new word: "metalling".

Oops. Yes, it’s a UK term. But probably more user-friendly than ‘Byway Open to All Traffic‘ or BOAT as they more correctly are 😀.
