wanted something light and small to just cover the transfer case other than the poor factory protection that was on there......contacted JonB(very good guy) and this is it....love it!! took all of 2 minutes to put on (4 factory bolts)lol......here are some teaser pics, contact JonB with any questions

yes your basically taking the factory flimsy skid plate off(held on with 4 bolts) and useing them for the BEEFY(lol) all pro skid plate

it does have a paint coating over it....I dont know if its powdercoated though.....eh its black, and a skid plate....good enough for me, if I need to I hit it with the rattlecan
