Hey y'all,
I recently replaced my stereo with an Android stereo system. However, I have now lost my ability to use my stock sub in the rear. The android improved my front speakers and my over-head speakers but I'd like to have my bass back.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do to get my sub working again. I'd love to do it myself, if possible.

Thanks everyone!

Back in 2015 the subwoofer switch pin was an issue, swapping the pin solved it back then and still works with my 2019 new Joying unit in 2010 FJ. Use a small driver to release and relocate HU pin to match harness pin. Worked for many of us with FJAMMERs not JBL upgrades, I just blindly did it on first install and have had no issues across 2 units.

"On the factory harness I located which pin went to the SW switch, which on my 2008 is a PINK wire with the BLUE stripe (you can verify this on the SW switch). I then relocated the BLUE wire on the HU harness to match the pin of the SW that I previously found."
