I would be alll over that if it really worked, considering it was 67 bucks to fill up today.... and that was at a military gas station, where it's usually around ten cents cheaper per gallon than what it is out in town. Granted, that's only $1.50 savings... but that FJ can chew up some gas!

wow you're lucky, our military bases usually charge 4 to 15 cents MORE than the regular fuel stations in town. How F'd up is that? We get paid less to do more and still cant catch a break at our exchange which is supposed to save us money and compensate for the high cost of living. Sorry, rant over.

Wow...This report is from a credible news channel. Would they be lying to us about the result? I'll keep my eyes on this for sure.
I Totally agree with you, i also think that they did a great test and i don't think that this news channel is gonna give us any BS...

The question here is, would you spend $1200 bucs in this, when you can get a 6" lift from RC or a nice set of KM2's, or a pair of Fox coilovers???? :thinkerg:

$1200 is a lot, but if it works it's worth it. I'm keeping my eye on this too!

I would like to see an independant lab dyno test a motor with this gadget. This way, you eliminate any driver input that can skew the results

For example, say before the gadget the driver had a real lead foot and always gunned it, so it got 10 mpg. With the magic fuel saving gadget under the hood, the driver suddenly is very self conscience of fuel economy, and babies the vehicle

If I drive my FJ at a steady 80 km/h on level terrain, I easily average 32 mpg, Imperial gallon. If I speed up to 90 km/h, my average drops to 29 mpg. If I speed up to 110 km/h, my average drops to 24 mpg. At 120 km/h, my average is 20 mpg

If these gadgets really worked, you'd see GM and the rest put them under the hood of every pickup and suv they have. Companies like GM are drowning in red ink, if they could increase fuel economy that much on their full size trucks with a simple gadget, they would

You missed the word usually. LOL

And keep in mind, it's fairly lousy gas.

Those exchanges are a joke though. You are saving NOTHING versus a decent sale out in town. Not a time. Even the commisaries are getting on par with the civillian grocers, and they aren't supposed to turn a profit.

OK, I'll take the bait. I think I'll give them a call on Monday and order one to try. With a 100 mile round trip to work every day I'm willing to try something. It has a 60 day money back warranty so I'll only be out the install and uninstall money if it doesn't. That can't be worse than buying $900 worth of tires for my Jeep then trading it in 3 months later for the FJ!

Please let us know what comes of the install! I am very interested, but I don't have 1200.00 for anything right now...even after the lie I got from bush.

I am interested to see some results on a FJ, as this could potentially be a huge amount of gas savings for us. Please let us know what happens!

Statements like these worry me about the inventor.

from web site:
"The normal ratio of oxygen in the air is ideally around 22%. Alarmingly, in many cities through out the world, it may be as low as 7%. Green Machine Solutions has an answer to this problem."

If my city's oxygen was 7% I might be worried about something other than my cars gas mileage.

"Scientists claim that anything under 7% oxygen in the air is too low to support human life, even for short periods. "

So if this product produces the same results for an FJ given my current avg. of 17 MPG. I would be somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 MPG! With that savings it would pay for itself in 9,231 miles. I hope someone does pic one of these up(air2air) and give it a test and post the results. However if it is as g8or91 says there is not much savings if the side effect is shortened engine life.

I've said it before: if these gadgets really did work, you'd see companies like GM fitting them to every full size pickup and suv. They are drowning in red ink with all those trucks sitting on the lot.
