Hi All,

Was wondering if anyone who has pics of ARB or factory Rock rails could post them. Wondering how far out they extend ? Looking to Buy 2011 FJ and would like to put on rock rails when I do, But I'm in a wheelchair and need all the space possible to transfer over without having them stick out to far.

Well I usually am against the search but it should be very easy to find a factory rock rail photo I think I even saw one today on a thread (I'll try to find it again) and you could probably also search for ARB rockrail pics.

Also I have heard that the ARB Rockrails are only .095 thick and that apparently is not enough to hold up over time. Factory rails are stronger at .120 if I'm not mistaken. Hope this helps.

I have the OEM rock rails, they is about a 1/2 gap between the inside of the rail to the body. The rails do not stick out far enuff to be used as a step. They also work very well, when I high centered in Arches NP last year the rig landed on the passenger rail. Thus protecting the bottom of the passenger door and frame and no damage to the slider.
