How do you use dropbox? The link resolves to a page not an individual image.
Sorry for the delay on this...I wasn't paying attention. When you use Dropbox, if you put it in the Public folder you can right click on the image and get a direct link. Then paste that in. It's how I put my pics up.

But, glad you got the pics up and great looking truck!

Now with pictures! I had to use Photobucket given how long it takes to get images moderated....
Thanks for the photos. I'm on the fence in getting a compressor.

What ARB model is this?
Was it worth it?
Connected to second battery?

I have mine mounted in the engine bay as well with a dual battery set up. Mine is the ARB one lunger but with a 2 1/2 gallon tank mounted underneath the back end it works quite well. Have it plumbed to both front and back bumpers with quick connects.

I'm amazed how fast the single fills the tank to 135psi. The double must be a beast.

Was it worth it?: Absolutely! We were on a rescue mission on Mt. Si. near Seattle looking for a missing parachutist and scouting for good radio relay points. Had to air down to 12psi due to 3ft deep snow. No worries (could easily air up again) and no problem moving through the snow. Air up time for all 4 tires was approx 10 minutes.

Connected to second battery: In my case yes but not necessary as the switch assembly can be wired to require the car to be running (or at least the key on) - although the tanks are pretty well sealed so that once charged with no draw the motor rarely comes on (in case you accidentally hit the switch to on).

Thanks to the OP, ajais, who must live pretty darn close to me, for proving this compressor would fit here.

Moved a few things:


Made a couple of brackets out of 16 gauge steel, and 1/8" x 1/2" steel bar, had them zinc coated, and then powder coated:


Neoprene washers everywhere:


Onboard air!


I had already wired a OTRATTW switch through the sPOD when I installed my bumper lights. sPOD rocks, it makes it so easy, and I still have three more switches available.


I've got Goodyear MT/R's 285/75R16. I run them at a solid 40lbs cold. Stauns takes 4min 20 seconds to go from 41 to 15. The dual ARB pumps them up from 15 to 41 in 2 min 10 seconds each.

I wonder if anyone is making that type of bracket commercially? I have a dual battery kit and this looks like a good option for mounting the compressor.
