Arches National Park is right next to Moab. Only a few miles across, it's an amazing concentration of natural arch formations. It's all along one major paved road, so I have included photos of every listed arch in there.
Also, anyone who digs Arches NP (or the desert southwest for that matter) should read "Desert Solitaire" by the late Edward Abbey. Highly recommended! I've got some slides of Arches somewhere from the late 1970's when I lived in Moab for a time.
My wife and I try to get there as often as possible in the winter (Nov. - March), the perfect time of the year to be there, IMO. We only live 200 miles from there so it's an easy trip.
