After my 2010 Iceberg was totaled out from a front end collision, out of the the ashes rises this 2010 Trail Teams. Couldn't believe how clean it was when I went down to take a look at it. Luckily I was able to take nearly all my parts from the Iceberg and swap them to the TT before parting ways with it for the last time. The last one was a learning experience, I plan on using that experience to do things the way I wanted the first time and now have to do them twice. Goal was to make summit this year but wasn't able to get registered in time. Next year will be the year!

Post saved for upcoming modifications.

A few of the things that will be going on here soon. Just need a break in the weather!

All-Pro sliders will be out next week to get sandblasted for a new coat before they go on. They served my old one well and DEFINITELY saved me from some damage.

Brute Force Fab bumper will be going on Wednesday, finally.

Looking good. Look forward to seeing the bumper mounted and any details of the fit.
Oh no, @J Rod is never going to mount that bumper, it's been sitting in his garage forever. One of those "When pigs fly" type of deals. :D

Sorry J Rod, just giving you crap! Yeah, can't wait to see it too, It's definitely one of the best looking bumpers out there! Don't worry we'll get your new rig broken in properly.

Bumper is on. Fitment is pretty good for being one if his prototype bumpers. Now I am noticing a creeking noise coming from the front end when driving or hitting bumps. Cant for the life of me figure out where it's coming from.
Check your AC line that runs behind the bumper STAT. Make sure it isnt rubbing a hole through it.

Also could be the metal that is below those panels below your turn signals. If they are close or touching the bumper they will move separately from the bumper...as they are body and the bumper is frame mounted.

Thank you! How soon until you can expect yours? The aluminum will be awesome? I may make some filler plates for those side areas here soon. Or just remove it all together.
Ready to ship to the UK by the end of June if all goes to plan so I'll get it August. I'm hoping a pair of Baja Designs Squadrons will fit too.

Great looking bumper.... great lines to it.... well done mate...

check your UCA's for the creek / squeak ... with the extra weight forward they might be dry and groaning a bit from the extra work - aka weight.
a few drops of tri flow and they will be lubed and silent...

Cheers

Baz, gonna check into the triflow this weekend. I think that is the stuff that works on the actual uniball though right?

My squeak is definitely coming from the UCA bushings where the long bolt runs through. I think I will end up picking up a grease gun, some Superlube Synthetic Grease for them and hitting the zerks again to see if that is the exact culprit.

G'Day J,
Yep, good idea... Triflo the uniballs ... and grease up the bushes....
that should eliminate the squeak .... i grease the bushes about once a year, when they start talking....but use triflo often .. the uniballs seem to get dry n dirty more often.

Cheers

Crawl underneath on the driverside front. Look up at where the bumper is mounted and there is a bolt that is at the front of what looks like a smaller radiator. I believe it is part of the AC. That bolt was rubbing my bumper making a squeaking sound when I hit bumps and closed the door. I gorilla glued a thick piece of rubber between the two to make it quit.

Found the squeak guys. It was the UCA bushings. Loosened the long bolts, greased them up good and it took care of the squeak. I did notice a rub on the bolt where the AC goes. Going to take care of that very soon.

Wheels went to a member on TacomaWorld.

CB should be in this one by the end of next week. Sliders to follow. Gotta get her ready for Memorial Weekend wheeling at Kansas Rocks ORV!
