I've heard of it but if they don't fix this time after the thrid try then maybe the lemon law would apply and your girlfriend can get a new FJC.

Well, we took the FJ back in today. They said the same solenoid had failed again and that this time they were just going to replace the whole tranny.

I heard of that being done before (trans replaced for solenoid problems). Now that's what I call "Service". That should solve all her problems. :bigthumb:
