I've yet to call, but expressing my discontent with the ship dates Autoanything claims at checkout, versus the 5 week later delivery email I've gotten on two recent purchases. First was liners for two vehicles. No big deal that one set was 4 weeks later than checkout claimed. This purchase was Hi Lift jack that's supposed to be a surprise bday gift from kids. Checkout claimed ship 4/8 to 4/10. Email sent says expected 5/22. Only purchased through them to make it easy for my wife, and it'll be the last if I can't cancel. If the technology exists for them to email me 5 times a day, vehicle specific specials, then I know it exists for inventory management, though I'm sure they're simply an etailer. I wouldn't think twice about if it weren't for the fact that kids were excited to finally have gift ideas (they like the new TOY, too) and the Gobi it'll mount to won't be here for 3-4 weeks, supposedly, but I can't help but think there's a better way to track actual shipping dates. Ok, I'm done.

Strange... I've ordered a few items from them without problems... But I always call my order in. I have always recommended them. I'll see how the next order goes and hope it's not a trend.

I hope it isn't, either, though I'm not sure what else I can purchase from them, for the FJ at least, it won't keep me from ordering in the future. But I'll call for sure.

I purchased a front bumper from them & just got my Bushwacker fender flares from there too & got amazing prices & extremely fast shipping. Sorry to hear about your issues but I wouldnt lose faith in them just yet. It sounds like you've just had bad luck or maybe the items happened to be backordered or something. Hopefully they will make it right with you, I couldnt be happier with them & whenever I am looking for something new, I check there first :rocker:

Once again, utterly amazed with technology. Amazed at the fact that Rep from Autoanything not only replied email, but also here.

Impressive.

I'm humbled.

I'm waiting on a 12-15% off to purchase a Body Armor bumper from Autoanything for the FJ. They seem to have the best price when they run a special. The fact that they have a rep willing to resolve a problem on this forum amazed me as well.

Hopefully they run another again soon for you, they just had one for 15% off that ended 3/31.

Autoanything.com has been awesome in my experience with them. Nobody is perfect, mistakes do and will happen. Dont give up on them!!:cheers:

I'll give them credit for customer service. I was expressing my discontent more so with the ship dates at checkout, versus actual ship dates.

Not to further this thread any longer for the purpose of bashing autoanything.com, but website still claims ship date of 4/15.

I'm glad that your item is on the way to you! I apologize for the confusion, I am going off the information that the manufacturer gives to me. This item was out of stock and was not expected into the warehouse until May. As luck would have it, they got their shipment in a bit earlier and were able to ship this to you.
